Reports from Kernville are saying the Bull fire is almost fully contained and is not even putting out smoke. It is possible that shuttle operations will resume this Saturday Aug 7? It appears the fire burned the lower 3 miles of the Plunge. The rest of the Cannell did not burn so all the beautiful meadows and forests are intact. The part that did burn was mostly sage and grass land.

By the way, the photo on the upper left with Chris laying down is the lower part of the Plunge that probably did burn.
