I have finished my bike, and am in need of a ride. Possibly tomorrow or the following day. Depending on work load.

SO, What trail would you guys suggest hitting first?
and
Are anyone of you interested in joining? I will be riding probably ever 3 to 4 days for the next few months..

Thanks!

What is your level? and what type of riding are you looking for?
I rode a couple of easy beginner level trails.
Brentwood:
Sullivan canyon was rideable, a lot of creek crossings but rock based so no mud. no single track here. It is steep at the top. I ride from bayliss up westridge to westridge fire road, left at the Nike site/ mulholland rd., left down sullivan ridge fire road, then drop into Sullivan canyon on your left. Its a 13 mile loop with lots of downhill. but not jumps, it has been bulldozed flat. slight change after the rain, rocks, streams and fallen trees.
Agura:
Chesebro was still too muddy and tacky. it was not fun, goo on the tires.
If you can hack the climb hru the tacky mud the down hill is fun.

Pt. Magu, sycamore canyon is easy and fun. It has lots of single track (climbing) at the top.

Drive south on the 101/5, go north on the 605, exit Beverly and go east towards Whittier. Keep going on Beverly and park at the fire road entrance, you'll see cars. Climb up to the water tower, take a look around and have fun, then do it again.

The place is called Turnbull Canyon, it's got a bit of everything.

Do some research, a few favorites are: A-Side, 7th St. Loop, Rattlesnake/Escalator and Ridgleline.

Message me if you want a tour.

I heard that the rangers are asking people to stay off the trails right now because they are so wet from the rain. I like the Nike site and Cheseboro area. For me Cheseboro is harder than Topanga area (Nike Site)

Thanks for the input. I appreciate it.

Its too bad the rangers are keeping people off - muddy rides are a blast.

Im looking for all types of riding, expect those that are strickly up hill.
I enjoy DH, and mild cross. I would say im probably advance to expert, not saying im the best.
Im geared up and ready to roll. Anyone down for a ride this weekend, weather permitting?
Sat or Sun...

Hope to hear back

Wish I could do it.. I am so sick of waiting around for the rain to stop or the trails to dry, so I already arrange for a three day kayaking trip this weekend. May be I will go next Sunday.

I'll be doing the Westridge, Sullivan loop this Saturday. it is dry except for the creeks in the canyon. No jumps here!

I'll wait until the hills dry out.

I have ridden turnbul three loops there, lot of climbing!

I will be riding this weekend as well, probably both Sat. and Sun. since I finally finished building up my new RIP 9 this week and am trying to ride it as much as possible. I live up in Agoura Hills and have a pretty good choice of trails to ride. Message me if you want to go.

Well lets get something for this weekend. I have spoke with a couple people about riding.

This is what Im looking for, but not limited to:
Flowing hills, traveling down for the most part. Looking for something that is appeasing to the eyes.
New bike, New location, Epic Ride!

I have a SPecialized ENduro with a heavy double crowned fork. Have knee and shin pads, full faced helmet. On the other end, have a brain bucket and more XC tires if needed.

Looking for some guidance. You guys are awesome so far, I appreciate the help.
Let me know what your all thinking.

Turnbull should be open and alright to ride. We can shuttle if I can get a few friends with trucks to come with.

Agoura has some great trails to hit after it rains. I love going to Stunt Rd.
