www.MTBOutdoors.com hopes your weekend was as awesome as ours. Did you ride a bunch? Where? We know a lot of you are videoing your rides. Care to share your link?

Where did we ride? Thanks for asking.

Mt. Waterman -
On Sunday we went to Mt. Waterman to go mountain biking. Many of you know the small resort as a place to ski/board in the winter. Recently they opened up to mountain biking.

While no Sun Valley, it has a lot of character and potential. Plus it is only 1.5 hous away from Santa Monica a perfect destination to escape the heat and hustle of LA.

While I am no Sam Hill, you can see the trails are scenic and sinuous. What you can't see is that the riding line is only 1-2 feet wide.

Here is a short sample of what we rode: http://vimeo.com/5786...

We are streaming all 5 hours of the day too. The thought is that you can check out Mt. Waterman and make your own decision. We think it is good for the support and are happy to see a new place so receptive to us. But why don't you decide - http://opticaledge.co...

Brain P, Michael, Henry N and Chris were there. Hope to see you next time.

Pedal on!

Can't say enough about Mt. Piņos!!!

Was a great set of rides and group fun last weekend. If you were there then you know what I'm talking about.

Looks like I will be going back there this Saturday (Aug. 1st) for another day of riding. The cool temps and easy access make this a premier place to ride - if you get there early, you can have the trail to yourself for a few hours.

I almost went to Piņos but decided to check out Mammoth at the last minute since I had never been. Kinda far (5 hours+) but well worth it. I stuck to mostly blues but tried a few sections of single black Skid Marks and the tail end of Shotgun. There are so many trails there for all skill levels, it is a great place to up your game.

I'd like to check out Waterman though. That sounds cool. I've been reading about it on some other sites. I hope to see something on the calendar real soon. hint hint
