OK I sent messages to Chris with details requesting a post for us.
Meeting/parking at end of Steele St. off Sierra Highway. The road is south of Le Chein Restaurant....I gave all the details to Chris... I'll meet ya'll there and we'll decide which level of trail to ride when we meet. Lots of choices from advance to beginner/intermediate. |

OK I sent messages to Chris with details requesting a post for us.I'll do you one better - LC you can post the event yourself :-). If there are others that want to post their "house" rides or otherwise, contact me individually. Also, and LC can attest to this, the shuttle is a great way to get your learn on. It's all downhill and you can get 17 miles in per run. Where else can you do that? We did a few Beginners DH and a few Lady Only DH way back in the day with 'Critter' but that was before the fire. There are over 10 different ways down the mountain from buck beginner to white knuckle hope you don't create a rock slide rides. If you let me know a day or so before the ride, I can usually make sure there is a sweep person to help with getting your learn on. Regardless of what you decide, I hope making LC an Event Organizer helps. If you have specific questions it is better to hit me up off-line or on our main site www.SCOAOutdoors.net. /chris |

Hi, LC--Just wanted to get a little clarification--thanks much for the directions, are we meeting at 9 or 9:30 or?
In light of what Chris posted about offering a sweep for Sat re the 17 mile downhill, I just wanted to verify that the area you proposed and that we are doing this Sat has the variety of up, down, single track and level? (My own priority interest is getting some meaningful but non-excruciating uphill in the mix, but fine with mixing it all up if that's in there). I will email you my cell ph# thru your member page herein and if you are comfortable doing the same back, in case of any trouble finding you on Sat, that would be great. DeeDee |
