What Shuttle?

I got a couple of calls today for a shuttle this weekend. Nothing is for sure but we want to see who is interested. We are going to do things differently though. We are going to run this through SCOA. We love MTBOutdoors.com but not the drama that ensues when we do a shuttle. If you want to be heard or listen in join SCOA. Joining is free.

A few of us are going to bag a loop at Chantry Flats this evening and then head to the movie screening and BBQ SCOA is throwing. Come on out there is plenty of room. Bring your bike, food, bevy and upload your favorite video to SCOA. We have a fire 'pit', gas for the barbie, projector and movie screen.

New week look out for a night ride that starts at 8PM most likely in the San Gabes. . .

Adventure Movie Screenings, BBQ and mini bonfire! - Single Track Focus

Take a mid-week break from your normal world and come watch your favorite videos under the moonlight at SCOA HQ. We will provide the screen, the projector, the grill and a fire pit. You upload your favorite video to SCOA, bring a beach chair, some grillables, your favorite beverage and of course your appetite for food and adventure video.

Tomorrow - Single Track Focus

To the uninitiated, Chaney Trail is a brutal climb. Even strong climbers are forced to their granny gear within the first mile. It doesn't let up until the road turns to dirt at the Lower San Merrill cut-off about 60 minutes later. But it is worth it. San Merrill and Idelehour Trails are single-track heaven. Descending these technical trails takes some skill. Hard tails and trail bikes will do the best, although all-mountain bikes will do fine.

Darkside Mountain Bike Shuttle

It's simple - pick up is in Sierra Madre late morning. You'll get a ride to the observatory or very close. Depending on what gates are open you could hit just about anything on the front side - Wintercreek, Mt. Wilson Trail + others. You will need to be logged into SCOA to view. Joining is free.
