This is a advance beginner/intermediate ride. The trail parallels Malibu Canyon Road, but climbs over the hill. There is about 1/4 mile of rock garden that has been rated as advanced by Mark Langsten Corba Mt. Bike Instructor. Ive seen beginners on this trail every day. I don't know the current conditions of the creek bed.

The general plan is to start from Juan Bautista De Anza Park on the corner of Lost Hills Road and Las Virgenes Rd. Take the Grasslands trail to Crags Road onto the killer hill climb of Bulldog Motorway, cut left onto Castro and Mesa Peak Motorways and back down to Las Vigenes road and pick up Tapia Spur trail back into Malibu Creek Sp back onto Grasslands to the cars. Detours through known and unknown singletrack are likely
