Here we go again....

Mid-Week, LIGHTS REQUIRED La Tuna Fire-Road Climb Out & Back

I'm bringing a beginner with me and can tell you now there will be walking and resting to get to the top. The goal for this night is to make it to the top, not to be the quickest. So, if you want to join us. Come on out.

I am just planning on doing the fire road out and back. This will be a nice weekday workout. Based upon my performance on my first run on this trail I can promiss you that this will be a slow ride to the top. I will be taking breaks and basically just taking my time to enjoy the nightime LA Skyline.

This would be a good ride for a beginner ready for a sweet workout.

Lights are MANDATORY!!!

Being this is a fire road, you do not need expensive killer offroad bike lights, but you just need something brighter than anything you'd find at Walmart. Oh Yeah... Tail Light mandatory also.

If you have any questions regarding the effectiveness of your light set, please call or e-mail me your question.

Distance: Approx. 6 Miles
Pedal Time: Approx 1:15
Total Time: Approx 2:00
Climbing: Approx 1,800 Ft.

You can call me if you have any quesitons.

Please be ready to roll-out at 7:00

See ya then!

    •  Well... With hundereds of rides under my belt, this was my first ever DNF. The weather was nippy and I was feeling great, but my stomach had other plans. I had to turn around and return back home. It was nice meeting/seeing you guys on the trails.
    •  A little cold. I don't think any beginners showed up.
